• (CZE) – violin

  Dennis Schneiderka is a Czech violinist. He is a Czech musician from Prague. He is a laureate of many important performance competitions in the Czech Republic and abroad. He focuses mainly on the Romantic, Classical and 20th century repertoire.

  He has been playing the violin since the age of five. He began to learn to play at the Zdeněk Burian Primary School of Art in Kopřivnice in the class of Hana Vyhlídalová. At the age of fifteen he entered the Brno Conservatory, where he studied under Mgr. Pavel Suk. In his fourth year at the conservatory he passed the entrance examination to the Janáček Academy of Performing Arts in Brno as the best candidate, where he began his studies in the class of Prof. Peter Michalica and graduated in 2021.

  He has given countless concerts, performances and competitions. In 2013 he won 1st place and the title of laureate at the Pro Bohemia performance competition. In 2016 he won the Talents for Europe competition (1st prize), the International Violin Competition in Nová Paka (1st prize and the prize for the best performance of the obligatory composition "Dja more" by Sylvia Bodorova) and the International Violin Competition in honour of Vasa Příhoda "New European Talents" (1st prize). He won twice at the Classical and String Competition in 2015 (1st prize) and 2016 (1st prize). He has also successfully presented himself at the Mlody Paganini Competition in Legnica (Poland), the Grazyna Bacewicz Competition in Lodz (Poland), the Leoš Janáček International Interpretation Competition (Czech Republic), the Concours Grumiaux Competition in Brussels (Belgium), the Jeunesses Musicales Competition in Bucharest (Romania) and the Societa Umanitaria Competition (Milan). He has also participated in a large number of performance courses with the world's leading violinists - Alexandra Soumm, Julian Rachlin, Josef Špaček, Ivan Ženatý, Ricardo Odriozola, Peter Michalica, Dana Vlachová, Leoš Čepický and others.

  His wide-ranging repertoire includes a large number of works across all stylistic periods - concertos and works for solo violin accompanied by orchestra, double concertos, chamber works, works and sonatas for violin and piano, as well as works for solo violin.

  He has appeared several times as a guest in the Brno Philharmonic's chamber music series, and has performed solo with the Janáček Philharmonic Ostrava, the State Chamber Orchestra Žilina and the Utrecht Chamber Orchestra. Currently he collaborates with pianist doc. Vladimír Hollý and is concertmaster of the Janáček Opera Orchestra of the National Theatre in Brno.

• Jamila Garayusifli (AZE) – violin

  Jamila Garayusifli is currently completing her Master's degree in Specialized Music Performance - Soloist at the Zurich School of Arts in the class of Professor Ilya Gringolts. She previously studied with Professors Svetlana Makarova-Vernikov and Julien Zufferey in Lausanne, Ilya Konovalov in Tel-Aviv and Zahra Guliyeva in Baku.

  He was awarded the Buchmann-Mehta Scholarship in Tel-Aviv (2012), won the 1st prize at the International Competition "Music Association of the 21st Century" (2011), received the Hans Schäuble Prize in Arosa (2019) and won the 2nd prize in the competition "Interpretation of Contemporary Music" (2021).

  Jamila has actively participated in various festivals, such as Schubertiade in Freiburg (2022), Festival les Amplitudes (2022), Lucerne Festival (2021), Opera du Rhône (2022), Festival des Combins (artist in residence and guest teacher, 2021), Rostropovich International Festival (2007-2010), Musica Mundi (2011-2015), Internationale Kalamata Musiktage (2018-2019), Tibor Varga Music Academy (2017-2019), etc.

  As a soloist she has performed with orchestras such as Caspian Virtuosos (Austria), Hajibeyov State Symphony Orchestra and State Chamber Orchestra (Azerbaijan), Bohdan Warchal Slovak Chamber Orchestra and others under the direction of Maxim Vengerov, Roman Belishev and Rauf Abdullayev. He is actively involved in various chamber music formations in Switzerland, such as CHAARTS (under the direction of Gabor Takacs-Nagy), CameratAmoyal (under the direction of Pierre Amoyal), Sinfonietta de Lausanne, Sedunum String Orchestra (under the direction of Sebastien Bagnoud) and Jura Festival Chamber Orchestra.

  In 2020, Jamila founded the trio "Areal" with cellist Sandro Meszaros and pianist Daria Korotkova in Zurich. The trio actively performs in Switzerland.

  comes from Switzerland, began his musical education at the Fribourg Conservatory by studying wind ensemble conducting in the class of J.-C. Kolly. He completed his bachelor's degree in music pedagogy with a focus on singing at the Academy of Performing Arts (HEMU) in Lausanne. In 2015 he received his Master's degree at the Haute École de Musique in Lausanne under the guidance of prof. A. Azan Zielinski and P. Beran in conducting, and in the same year a DAS diploma at the Academy in Bern under D. Roggen. In 2018, he completed his Master's degree in conducting at HAMU in Prague under the supervision of Doc. Koutník, N. Baxa and Doc. Svárovský. He attended conducting courses with J. Dobrzelewski and G. Contratti. In summer 2017 he received the Yuri Simonov Prize at the International Conducting Competition in Radom, Poland. As part of the prize, in September he completed a week-long internship in Moscow with the Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra, under the direction of conductor Yuri Simonov. Sébastien Bagnoud has had the opportunity to work with the following orchestras: Palermo Giovanile Mediterranea Orchestra, Brno Philharmonic, Prague PKF Philharmonic, AKS Prague Academic Chamber Soloists, Orchestre Opera du Rhône, Chamber Philharmonic Orchestra Pardubice, Collegium Magistrorum Mikulov, Pilsen Orchestra of JK Tyl, Olomouc Philharmonic, Radom Chamber Orchestra (PL), Valais VOC Chamber Orchestra and Orchestra of Haute École de Musique in Lausanne. He has participated in many festivals such as Beirut Chants Festival in Lebanon, Sion Festival (CH), Crans-Montana Classics Festival (CH), Bohuslav Martinů Days Festival (CZ), Festival Opera Praha (CZ).

  He made his debut in the opera literature in 2014 in Lausanne, when as assistant to A. Zielinski conducted Benjamin Britten's The Turn of the Screw. In December 2015 he conducted a concert as part of the Beirut Chants Festival in Lebanon. In 2015 he was approached by the Opera du Rhône to stage and conduct Rossini's William Tell at the Martigny amfiteater. In December 2017, he conducted J. Offenbach's opera Orpheus in the Underworld at the Martolet Theatre in Saint-Maurice, Switzerland. In 2015-2017 he was assistant conductor to N. Baxa and conducted the productions of The Sorcerer (Weber) and Eugene Onegin (Tchaikovsky) at the J. K. Tyl Theatre in Pilsen. In the summer of 2018 he became assistant conductor to J. Fiore at the Grand Théâtre de Genève for the new production of Carmen. In 2020, together with the Opera du Rhône, he will conduct G. Rossini's La Figaro de Seville at the Théâtre Martolet (CH). In 2021, he will conduct the ballet Le Corsaire by A. Adam, concerts with the Karlovy Vary Symphony Orchestra and the Pardubice Chamber Philharmonic Orchestra. In the summer of 2022 he will perform Puccini's Tosca with Opera du Rhône at the Martigny Amphitheatre (CH).
